According to the current epidemic prevention regulation, students and teachers must undergo 5 days of Self-Health Management, if they were tested positive. If a staff member or student is tested positive or is asked to be isolated at home, he/she must inform the office of the Chinese Language Center:
Students
If a student is tested positive, according to the current epidemic prevention regulation, students must undergo 5 days of Self-Health Management. During those days, students are not allowed to go to school. After reporting to the aforementioned systems, the course will be switched to online.
Teachers
If the teacher is tested positive and incapable to teach, the class will be taught by a substitute teacher and will continue to be conducted in-person.
If the teacher is tested positive but the symptoms are not severe, the class will be switched to online until the teacher is available to resume the in-person class. The class co-taught by the tested positive teacher will remain in-person.
If the teacher's diagnosis is not confirmed until the day of the lesson, there are two different situation.
If the teacher is still capable to teach, the class will be switched to online. On that day, the student will attend the lesson in the classroom while the teacher teaches from home.
If the teacher is incapable to teach, make-up classes will be arranged later on.
