For those needing to extend their visa, please note a fee of NTD 300 is required.
Penalty Related Regulations:
Those overstaying their visa or residence will face penalties ranging from NTD 10,000 to 50,000.
For changes in residence address requirements, failure to apply on time may result in penalties ranging from NTD 2,000 to 10,000.
Work Permit:
If you intend to work in Taiwan, you must apply for a work permit from the Ministry of Labor.
The maximum validity period for a work permit is six months, with a maximum of 20 hours of work per week.
Engaging in work without permission may result in penalties ranging from over NTD 30,000 to under NTD 150,000, or even deportation.
